R K Property Management is a Franschhoek-based organisation specialising in looking after your home away from home, when you can’t.  

Franschhoek is blessed with the most beautiful homes and many of them have owners who reside overseas for most of the year.  

We are here to give you peace of mind knowing your home is being lovingly taken care of and kept in great condition, ready for your next visit to our beautiful village. 

We offer the following away-from-home services:

  • Garden service weekly to cut the lawn, weeding, hedge trimming, general pruning and tree control, etc.
  • Pool service weekly as required.
  • Regular indoor cleaning services according to you needs
  • Regular maintenance checks for leaks, damp, breakages etc.

We offer a one-payment service where we take care of your monthly bills and you pay only one amount a month, substantially cutting down on overseas bank transfer costs.

  • Security company liaison and payments
  • DSTV and Wifi company liaison and payments
  • Municipality liaison and payments
  • Topping up of electricity meters
  • Levy payments
  • Golf club membership payments
  • any other regular or irregular payments you need.

For those that wish to let their homes out to visitors during their absence, we offer a booking liaison service for Airbnb and other booking agents and offer a fully comprehensive service.

This includes:

  • Setting up your online presence on the various booking sites in consultation with you as the home owner, ensuring it is in accordance with what you are comfortable with regarding price, accessibility, amenities and availability.
  • Preparing your home for a professional photo shoot to ensure optimal photos on the sites, a very important and often overlooked criteria.
  • Professional photo shoots at reasonable costs with local photographer.
  • Handling all enquiries and bookings coming through.
  • Preparing the home for the guests.
  • Check-in and check-outs
  • Cleaning and laundry after guests and also after your visit.
  • Providing reviews to maintain good presence on Airbnb etc.

SHORT TERM LETTING

We take out all the hassle and stress involved with hosting guests via Airbnb at your home or apartment in Franschhoek.

We maintain your listing, deal with the bookings, prep for guest arrivals, check-in and check-out, cleaning and laundry and make sure all is in top order for the next guests arrival.

GUEST RELATIONS AND MANAGEMENT

Communication is key!  We keep in contact with you as well as the guests to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. 

We make all arrangements with your guests before arrival, take care of their queries and requests during their stay and provide reviews afterwards.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Our Outdoor team take great care of your garden and pool and keep them in pristine condition.  Watering when necessary, grass cutting, weeding and pruning.  Replacing potted plants, trimming hedges and generally keeping the outdoor areas looking inviting.

Our Indoor team are on hand to make sure your home stays clean and dust free. Cleaning schedules designed to suit your needs. 

Our Maintenance and Building team can do it all. From fixing a door handle to building an extension to your home or adding a garage, we do it.  We regularly check on each of our properties to act quickly when any maintenance issues arise.
